the director general of the national institute for medical research the
centre of director of MUHIMBILI MEDICAL RESEARCH CENTRE wishes to
advertise the following post which is required to be filled with highly
motivated and competent doctor on contract basis period of two years
with possibility of renewal. since this capacity building project and
follow one health model the post holder needs to show proof post
graduate sponsored to undergo a postgraduate
SCOPE OF THE WORK
The overarching
objective assignment is to provide the operational and technical
support to the study coordinator and principal investigations to ensure
efficiency planning, programming and monitoring of project activities
and to conduct laboratory analysis of treponema strains the NMR now like
invites applications from suitable, qualified and experienced persons
1. ASSISTANT PROJECT COORDINATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating and implementing of all day project activities as planned
- Collect, manage, and disseminate study findings
- Be able to investigate non-human primates infections in Tanzania and able to train other colleagues in a healthcare facilities on human sampling
- Organize weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress meeting for the site based for the project draft, minute of the meeting and track to implementations of the recommendations from the meetings
- Liaise with the principal investigator, coordinator and donors frequently basis and prepare a technical and financial report
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in medicine at least 2 years experience in training healthcare workers and collecting quantitative data collections and management techniques
- Experience in working research institutions
EXPERIENCE
- Appropriate GCP training and viable certificate and experience
- Self motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Willingness to work outside of the normal business hours
- Excellent English oral and written communications kills
DESIRE SKILLS
Outstanding verbal and communications skills in English
- Strong quantities organizations skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and data base management
2. SOFT WARE DEVELOPER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, design develops codes and implements software components based on functional specifications and requirements
- Identifies applications programming problems and functional integrations
- Follow approved life cycle methodologies of design documentations
QUALIFICATIONS
I. Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
II. Expert java programming skills
III. Advanced knowledge on types (https://www.typescriptlang.org)
IV. Experience with working in web socket frameworks especially the meteor
V. Knowledge about MySQL, MongoDB/CouchDB and and its replications mechanism
VI. Knowledge about software and patterns and UML modeling
VII. Strong analytical an problems solving skills
