About NACTE The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) was established by Act of Parliament Cap. 129 to oversee and coordinate the provision of technical education and training in Tanzania. Technical education and training in this context is defined as: “ Education and training undertaken by students to equip them to play roles requiring higher levels of skills, knowledge, understanding and attitudes/ethics and in which they take responsibility for their areas of specialization.” This scope of NACTE covers all tertiary education and training institutions other than universities and their affiliated colleges, delivering courses at technician, semiprofessional and professional levels leading to awards of certificates, diplomas degrees and other related awards. TAARIFA KWA UMMA KUHUSU UTEUZI WA AWAMU YA NNE, UHAMISHO NA KUONGEZWA KWA MUDA WA KUFANYA MAOMBI KATIKA KOZI ZA ASTASHAHADA (CHETI) NA STASHAHADA (DIPLOMA) KWA MWAKA WA MASOMO 2016/2017 Baraza la Taifa la Elimu ya Ufundi (NACTE) linapenda kuwaarifu Waombaji wote walioomba kudahiliwa katika kozi za Astashahada (Cheti) na Stashahada (Diploma) na Umma kwa ujumla kuwa dirisha la maombi lilifungwa mnamo tarehe 15 Oktoba 2016 ili kuruhusu uteuzi wa awamu ya nne kwa waombaji wa kozi hizo. Uteuzi wa awamu ya nne kwa waombaji wa Astashahada na Stashahada unatarajiwa kutangazwa mnamo tarehe 2 Novemba 2016 , hivyo basi waombaji wanaombwa kuwa na subira ili kutoa muda kwa Baraza kukamilisha taratibu za uteuzi huo.
